AC Milan like Beyonce, so yesterday!
Apparently Adebayor compared interest from Milan to Beyonce taking a shine to him. Funny as that sounds, that is true on so many levels isn’t it? But my friend of Togo (just a saying, he isn’t really my friend), times are changing. Beyonce like Milan, are so yesterday!
Aged 25, Ade isn’t that much more older than me. He is of a generation that grew up when Destiny’s Child and the likes were on top. Despite Beyonce doing well with her latest album (she is doing well, right?) it can be said that she is not the dynamic attractive lady that so many of us liked. Respect for Beyonce was lost when she married a fat, chauvinistic rapper. For every Barack Obama, there is a Jay Z…need I say more? Besides isn’t it all about Rihanna now? See, times do move quickly.
It is pretty much the same situation with AC Milan. They clearly aren’t the same since they lost to us in the last year’s CL. I watched the Milan derby (you know the one they showed on the BBC only because Beckham was playing) and they were better. But Inter won. And Inter lost to Utd despite being the better team. And Utd lost to Derby. Okay I’ll stop there. Football’s a funny game.
Outrageous as it sounds, I think Adebayor would show more ambition if he stayed at Arsenal. Conversely, if the Togo striker did sign for AC Milan who knows he might get his dream girl after all, if you get my drift. For now he needs to concentrate on his game and stop making these laughable comparisons.
